Mount And Blade Warband Acok

Has anyone captured Renly in The Crowned Stag quest in 8.0 version? I tried so many times but couldn't do it. I tried to do it in 3 different ways:1.

I fought him 4 times but he got away every time.2. I tried to release him from captivity and once i succeded he was 'free to go wherever he wanted to'.

I had a quest on and i wasn't a vassal of Dragonstone.3. As a vassal of Dragonstone i tried to escape him from Hull but i couldn't as i couldn't get the prison keys. Vintage trailer wheels and tires.

🙃Is there something extra you have to do? Is the quest broken?

Or is it me who just can't play the game XDHelp pls.
